Goals :
- The project is implemented by the Association Femme et Citoyenneté (AFC) between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025 and funded by Expertise France under the Ajyal Equality Programme.
- Ajyal Equality is a regional programme financed by the French Development Agency (AFD) aiming to strengthen the culture of gender equality in Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia.
Results and achievements:
The project enabled:
• The legal and financial strengthening of AFC through the review of legal and administrative documents, training of AFC on the legal obligations of associations, and the recruitment of an accountant to improve AFC’s financial management.
• The development of communication and digital visibility through the implementation of a digital awareness campaign on gender-based violence, covering key topics such as femicide, coercive control, positive masculinity, and online violence.
• The strengthening of AFC’s organizational capacities through the training of 12 members in strategic planning and results-based management, coupled with the implementation of AFC’s strategic retreat to develop the 2025–2030 five-year strategy.
