Goals :

• Provide women survivors of violence in the Kef region with support adapted to and compliant with multidisciplinary care standards through the services of the Manara Centre.
• Promote the economic empowerment of 15 survivors by supporting the launch of income-generating activities, micro-projects, or by improving employability.
• Raise awareness among high school, middle school, and university students in the Kef region on equality norms and gender-based violence.
• Strengthen the capacities and organisational structure of the Manara Centre to improve its functioning and services.

Results and achievements:

The project facilitated:

• The holistic support for 219 women survivors of violence, including 102 new survivors.
• The multidisciplinary support including technical and entrepreneurial training, personalized coaching, as well as service packs of equipment, supplies, and raw materials, provided to 12 women survivors to facilitate the creation and development of their income-generating activities.
• The youth engagement in raising awareness on gender-based and technology-facilitated violence, through the training of 6 equality ambassadors and the implementation of 15 awareness sessions in middle and high schools in the Kef governorate. The campaign reached 271 students and enabled the creation of educational tools adapted for and with young people.
• The establishment and structuring of 2 university gender equality clubs by 28 students across 2 universities in Le Kef.
