Looking back at 2025, the Manara Center continued the effective delivery of holistic, survivor-centred support to women survivors of gender based violence.
The Manara Center provided listening services, legal and judicial assistance, and psychosocial support to 246 women survivors of violence. This was made possible by the strong coordination between AFC and local, regional and national referral actors from police, justice, social affairs, women affairs, health, civil society, shelters, etc. The survivor-centred and confidential approach of Manara remained a cornerstone of service delivery, ensuring that assistance was adapted to the specific situations and risks faced by each survivor. As a result, these 246 survivors were able to secure safer living conditions, access urgent protection measures when needed (including temporary shelter, health and legal protection, psychosocial assistance, etc.), and begin addressing the psychosocial and legal consequences of violence, creating the first conditions for recovery, stability and longer-term reintegration.
